The key ingredients for making Costa Rican Tea: Guayusa, ginger, cinnamon, lemon, and honey. 1 cup Water
- 1–2 teaspoons of Guayusa (or 1 Guayusa tea bag)
- 1–2 slices of Fresh Ginger
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Honey (optional)
Instructions
- Boil water and add Guayusa (or use a Guayusa tea bag).
- Add fresh ginger slices to the water and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the tea.
- Add lemon juice and honey (if desired), and stir well.
- Drink this tea hot or chilled, depending on your preference.
Notes
For best results, drink Costa Rican Tea 1-2 times a day, especially in the morning or before meals, to help with digestion, metabolism, and fat burning.
